ProseMirrorThe engine behind every article

Everything written in a Famvaults wiki is a ProseMirror document. It is what makes an article a structured thing rather than a blob of markup — which is how the contents list, the links between articles and the page history all work.

TiptapThe writing experience

The editor toolbar and everything that happens as you type. Tiptap builds on ProseMirror and is headless, which is why the editor looks like the rest of Famvaults rather than like someone else's product.
